Helen Keller.

Helen Keller was born in 1880 in a small town in Northern Alabama. her father was a Captain in the army and her mother was his second wife. Helen was their first child.
When Helen was one year in a half old,she was like another child she began walking and talking early also she was very active. Then when she was nintheen months old a strange sickness made her completly blind and deaf.
their Parents took her to Baltimore to see a Doctor who had successfully trated people who were blind. But the Doctor could do nothing to help her, then he recomended them a Teacher in Perkins Institution for taugh people blind, her name was Ann Sullivan.
Ann Sullivan began by teaching Helen, the job was long and difficult, Helen was not ready to learn first she had to taught how to obey and control her anger. Helen was very intelligent and learn quickly, she started to talk when she was 7 years old, Ann taught Helen to read the Braille system.
Helen went to College and grduated with honors, she was 24 years old. Helen traveled all over America,Europe and Asia taking the massage that people handicapped are like everybody else, because she wanted all people to be trated equally.
When she was in College she wrote her first of many books, the title of the book was "The story of my life"

Maria Isabel.

This is the storie of Maria Isabel Salazar Lope'z from Puerto Rico and she just moved to a new school,also she knew it wasn't going to be easy starting a new school, especially when the school year had already begun. She was so afraid and nervous but her parents told her you will make a lot of new friends soon at the new school.
At her first day to school she tripped and fallen with a tree root on the sidewalk and the first thing she heard was laughter but she didn't care she just bent down to pick up her smushed up lunch bag, her knee hurt but she walked to the bus stop,when she get on it the kids steal laughing and chattering about her.
when she got the school she knew her new teacher who said hello to her, giving a warm smile, but it didn't make to feel her more comfortable, Maria Isabel Salazar lope'z said in spanish she would have added and she didn't know how to say that in English, so she kept quiet and handed the pink slip to her. Oh! Maria Lope'z the ticher said so we already have two Marias so we call you Mary Lopez, take a seat over by Martha Perez and lowered her eyes went there. A little while later the teacher gave her a tick book it had a picture of a Dolphing on the front, she love the sea and always dreamed of seeing a real Dolphing so she opened the book eagerly, on the inside the ticher handwriting was so neat and pretty her name and for her was olmost impossible that anyone could write so beautiful.

All about this week.

This week I wrote about the person on my left(was Leticia)I didn't like the layout to much neither the background color in her blog, also she didn't write to much.
I discovered the web of White House also the President Obama schedule, then I practiced the spelling words from Dr. Biden, and finally I changed my setting and worked in Autumn sentences.
The most useful vocabulary for me was Spelling City, I like it because is fun and words comes in different tenses, it was a busy week.

Tonight I visited Leticia's blog and I didn't like the layout to much but is good, she wrote about
birthday's classsmates also she showed her puppies.
I couldn't see too much on her blog, but I'll be back to visited her again, Thanks Leti.

What's for the weekend.

On Saturday I will get up early because I'm going to work at 8:00am thru noon, after that I have a meet up at my sister house and relatives we will have something like a party to say the Summer, see you next year!
On Sunday I'm going to watch soccer and Seahawks game on TV at my brother- in -law's house, I think we will have a barbacue if the day is nice.
That;s all what I'm going to do this weekend.

Fall Quarter.

On my first day at ESL classes, a few students came to our class, they are from several Countries but, I identify with CISSE, because he likes to play Soccer and also he hates snow,
well I like snow but I don't like the Seattle weather.
CISSE is from IVORY COAST(West Africa or Coast of Marfil): Didier Drogba is from Ivory Coast
this guy is the best soccer player in this world, he plays in the premier league of England, also Coast of Marfil has another good soccer player around Europe playing in the best teems(Italy.
Spain,England and France).

My Weekend.

My weekend started a little bit sad because, Summer quarter ended. But, I know this is part of a procedure every 3 months, students back and for every time.
On Friday I went to Seattle in the morning. and came back at noon, On Saturday my roommate and I, went to the mall to buy soccer shoes for him, we came back at noon, then my friends(Jorge and Elizabeth who is my neighbor) picked me up at my house and we went to apply for a job in different places such as Restaurants,Cleaning companies,etc. etc.
After couple hours we went to Factoria Mall to eat, suddenly I said, hey! guys let go to the beach as they answered yeah! lets go then we went to Alki Beach to spend there the rest of this day and we came back home at 9:30pm. It was a very fun day.
Sunday(relax all day).
P.D. I forgot to say that, I meet Nick and his family walking at Alki Beach I was so happy to see
him again because he is a good person.

About this Quarter.

As you seen, I don't have any favorite thing in maind, why? because everything for me was useful in this class.
But I'will tell you few things that I liked in summer class, for example: Adjetives,Nouns,Verbs
(regulars and irregulars),Mr. Putter and Tabby stories,Bingo and Spelling City.
Also I thing we have taken the course that was very interesting, so Thank You Teacher for
everything and I'll see you in fall quarter.

Last Friday I had a barbecue in my nephew's house.
On Saturday I went to shopping to Seattle downtown accompanied by my five sisters.
On Sunday I went to my sister's house to eat and then we went to the Church.

What kind of person do you think Mrs. Teaberry is? She is very nice neighbor and friendly with everybody but, especially with Mr. Putter.

How you describe Mrs. Teaberry? She is a lonely old woman and, she doesn't like to be along but, she always invited somebody to eat all what she cook.

What she is like. she liked to feed everybody but, most of all, she liked to feed Mr. Putter.

My weekend.

This weekend for me was awesome, because was sunny and I love this way to be.
So it started on Friday morning at my writing class, it was very busy and interesting too,
then whenever was over I went home to call my family in Mexico, I felt good because my
kids are in they summer brake and they are really enjoyed.
On Friday night I went to visited my nice who lives five blocks from my house, and I spent
a good time there getting dinner,watching movies and drinking couple beers until midnight
my nephew-in-law hitched me a raid to home.
On Saturday I watched the Soccer Woman's World ship(Mexico VS. South Korea) of course
Mexico lost the game. After that my friends and I, went to the Cedar River Fair to walk around
listening music,watching all arts and everybody having fun, after two hours we came back home
to relax, and the afternoon I went to visited my friend Elizabeth who is my classmate and neighbor too, she invited me to eat in her house.
On Sunday we went to the River at Maple Valley and we spent there half day and returned to
the house at five O'clock.

Mr. Putter and Tabby Flaying a Plane.

this story talk about an old men and old yellow cat.It say the old men who was Mr. Putter loved toys and he supposed desn't love toys anymore.And everytime Mr. Putter and Tabby were going to the town they stopped at the toy store,so one day Mr. Putter bought a spotted plane that he had never seen before, it was red and white with a little flag on its tail also it has a radio control.Tabby didn't like Mr. Putter plane, and they were out to try to fly the little plane. but firstMr. Putter sat on the grass to read directions, then he put the plane on the grass and press the start button, but the plane didn't work and Tabby purred and purred.But Mr. Putter set it again and the plane fell on it nose and died, and Tabby purred, Mr Putterwent to the plane and pick it up because a wing fell off, then he fixed but he was so sad becausetold it that was his fault.Tabby watched Mr Putter sad and she felt sad too.Finnaly Mr. Putter tray again and the plane flew and he was so happy for it. the children from the town heard about the plane and all came to watch the plane fly.Mr. Putter gave the plane a boy who was a little shy,clumsy and forgetful but whenever the boyflew the plane he wasn't shy,clumsy or forgetful at all, he felt strong,sure and so happy.That's what the boy became a hero among the other childrens.

Her name is Sahar, she is from Iran and she say is very happy because she found an English
class close to her brother's house.
This is her first week at the school and she say's, she is going to write more later.

Eight Sentences.

Mr Putter and Tabby.

Mr. Putter lived along, in the mornings he had no one to share his English muffins.
In the evenings he had no one to share his tea. And in the night there was no one Mr, Putter
could tell his stories to. And he had the most wonderful stories to tell.
All day long as Mr. Putter clipped his roses and fed his tulips and watered his trees, Mr. Putter
wished for some company.
Mr. Putter wanted a cat. Then he went to the pet store. Do you have cats? He asked the pet
store lady. "We have fourteen" she said. Mr. Putter was delighted, but when he looked into the
cage he was not.
"These are kittens," he said," I was hoping for a cat" "Oh, no one wants cats, sir" said the pet store lady. They are not cute. they are not peppy.
Mr. Putter went to the shelter, and asked to the shelter man, "Have you any cats?" We have a fat grey one. A thin black one and an old yellow one. Said the man, then he brought Mr. Putter the old yellow cat. And he took him and they lived togheter for long time.
